Monmouth, the birthplace of Henry V is an historic and bustling market town which sits amidst beautiful countryside at the confluence of the Rivers Monnow and Wye.
Today Monmouth is thriving with a great variety of local shops and cafes, a good mix of national chains, including Waitrose and Marks and Spencer, together with local businesses. The town is also well known for its schools with Haberdashers Monmouth Schools for boys and girls and a highly regarded Comprehensive School.
Communications are excellent with the A449/A40 dual carriageway linking the M4 to the M50/M5 bringing Cardiff, Bristol and The Midlands within a commutable distance.
There are excellent clubs for rugby, cricket, rowing and football, walkers and fishermen are well catered for and there are several top golf courses nearby. Both the Comprehensive School and Monmouth Boys School have gyms and swimming pools open to public membership.
